1. Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures and timelines for the deletion of personal data collected via the LG Air SA mobile application operated by Premium Airconditioning Pty Ltd.. It ensures that LG Air SA complies with data protection laws (POPIA) and app store requirements regarding a user's "Right to be Forgotten."

2. Scope

This policy applies to all personal data captured during user registration or app usage, specifically:

• Full Name and Company Name

• Email Address and Telephone Number

• Province/Location Data

3. Data Deletion Request Process

Users have two primary methods to request the permanent deletion of their data:

• In-App Trigger: Users can navigate to the "Profile" or "Settings" section within the LG Air

SA app and select "Delete Account" or "Request Data Deletion."

• Manual Request: Users may email our data officer at [Insert Email] with the subject line

"Data Deletion Request."

4. The 48-Hour Execution Guarantee

Once a deletion request is initiated via the app or confirmed via email:

1. Immediate Suspension: The user’s account access is revoked immediately.

2. Verification: Our system identifies all database entries associated with the user’s Unique ID.

3. Permanent Erasure: Within 48 hours, all records containing the Name, Email, Telephone,

Company, and Province will be hard-deleted from our primary production databases.

4. Backup Cycles: Data residing in encrypted off-site backups will be overwritten during the

next scheduled backup cycle (typically within 7–30 days), during which time the data

remains inaccessible and "put beyond use."

5. Exceptions to Deletion

LG Air SA may retain certain data only if:

• There is a legal obligation to maintain records (e.g., financial transactions or tax records).

• The data has been fully anonymized (stripped of all identifying markers) for use in

provincial sales analytics or app performance reporting.6. Confirmation

Upon successful deletion of the data, the user will receive a final automated confirmation email (if

an email address was provided) stating that their personal information has been purged from our

systems.
